This is such a nice sweet book. It has all the feels you will need. Well written and the narrator has a soft voice that could lull you to sleep.

Sugar & Spice a wonderfully sweet book. A perfect book to end a hectic day. R.E. Hargrave is a talented writer & story teller who manages to fit a lot of story in to a novella. The characters are well developed, the story draws you in right from the start and keeps you interested to the very end. Thank you for a great read!

I listened to the Audible edition, David L. White did a wonderful job narrating. The addition of a musical chime in between scene changes and chapters is a nice touch. Thank you David L. White for a delightful listen.

Having just finished a naughtier R.E. Hargrave story I was pleasantly surprised by how different this one was. I always enjoy seeing writers exercise their talent with a large variety of, not only storylines but styles as well. This story turned out to be really sweet. It’s about a single mother and the new guy in town who falls for her. There is a little bit of a slow burn, but the way that Trent is so patient and understanding with Lacey, really touched my heart. They are faced with a lot of trials and hardships as their relationship starts to take off however, in the end they are able to band together not only with each other, but with their family and community to make it thought. It as a great small town romance that had a bit of a hallmark holiday movie feel to it and left me with all the warm fuzzies.
