About this listen

I'm caught between the devil and the deep-blue serial killer…

Well, he's more green than blue. He's also a lizard maniac determined to take over all of Hell. And with Taj fatally wounded, X kidnapped, and Dev so weak he's in a coma, I'm more than caught. I'm falling apart—and so are Ark and Joseph.

Eidolon won't stop until he's all-powerful, and he's holding my mate as leverage to make me do his dirty work. If I don't hand over a deadly relic, he'll kill X. If I do, he'll be unstoppable. There's no way to win this violent game of cat and mouse.

If I want to end him once and for all—and make sure he stays dead this time—I'll have to risk everything. My sanity. My magic. My mates. And I'm not sure I can pay that price.

Just think of cocktails on a private island when all this is over, Avie. Just think of cocktails.

Sugar Rush is a paranormal romance with psycho men, a badass FMC, twisted romance, and lots and lots of bloodlust. Demon criminals, a dark syndicate, a godlike hunter, and depraved, evil pasts fill this audiobook, but none of them are as deadly as Aveline Lachesi.

The story is a little all over the place but so is the FMC, it's part of her charm.
Avie went through a lot, and the past torture as well as the current near losses are heavy reading, but offset by her inner monologue... which I relate to and makes me wonder if I should seek help 🤔
Anyways 😅 in this book it's more about defending her found family while defeating her abuser family. it's full on in action and power, less smut.
We are with the characters and athough they are demons and have immese power, they have emotional triggers and it's refreshing to not just have a kill all no reaction characters. But we see the harm of trama, each of them have faced. The panic attacks, flashbacks, the self loathing and suicidal events. It's all there and part of the drama and storyline.

and that ending! 🤣🤣🤣
