I listened to the Audible version of this book, brilliantly narrated by Peter Lownds, but will be adding a 'physical' version to my collection. I don't know if my rating of this as an 'ABSOLUTELY GREAT' book is biased by the fact that I have a high regard for David R Hawkins work in general (I have bought most of his books) or if it is because what he says resonates so completely with me). Whatever it is I have no qualms in recommending this book (along with his books in general) to anyone seeking understanding of Reality and Life beyond the mere physical, in order to get the most out of this earthly experience.

This book is fantastic. I have already listened to many books by the author on the avenues to enlightenment, which are quite complex at times (although I personally loved them) but this one is really practical and much easier to grasp. It doesn’t matter who you are, what stage of life you’re at, or if you have any spiritual experience, this book suits all. And even if you are more spiritual and enlightened, this book builds on that too. Loads of funny stories provide aha moments and realisations. The narrater has a lovely soothing kind voice and even though I love Dr Hawkins and his teachings, his own reading voice is not particularly easy to listen to because he sounds so sleepy. Therefor I have only bought one of his books read by him and after that I have stayed with the ones read by Peter Lownds.

I run my own business and have done so since 2018. The principles outlined in this book were a great reminder of all I hold dear and the foundations of what I set out to achieve in business as well as my personal life, but can sometimes forget! Stand out concepts for me were:

- There is no competition for successful companies!

- Success is a state of mind and a way of being, not a formula or an advertising strategy.

- The most important factor in the success of any business is to stick to high principles no matter what.

This book may sound a little old fashioned in places (due to the age of the author no doubt) but the principles behind it ring true to me as a conscious business owner. Thank you Susan Hawkins for bringing this book into the world, it is a real gift :)
