Subdued is a fantastic addition to the Vakarran Captives series, but can be treated as a standalone. The book is about four super-hot alien warriors and their captors. The storyline is super steamy with BDSM elements and public humiliations. Sara Fields writes excellent scorching adult sci-fi romance, this series is no different. The book is well-plotted with engaging characters and very enjoyable.
Heather Firth's performance is ridiculously good. Her ability to modulate distinctive tones for the various characters, particularly males, is incredible. She is fast becoming my top favourite female narrator. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

I love this one. The characters although extremely strong willed and independent are able to embrace the needs of the other characters kinks and submit only to find its what they needed. This is a hot well written series and story and i know I would be happy to read more
