There are times when life feels like it has you cornered: financial difficulties, relationship issues, work problems, all of the above. Every one of us, at one time or another, will have to face up to the challenges that come our way. And there are two ways of meeting them: negatively, where blame is the answer, where other people are at fault, where you haven’t been treated fairly. Or positively, where you own the situation, learn and grow from it and become a better person at the end of it.

Summary
Random House presents the audiobook edition of Strongman: My Story by Eddie 'The Beast' Hall.
'If you never see me on the podium at World's Strongest Man, I probably died trying.' (Eddie Hall)
Few athletes have had as big an impact on British sport over the last five years as Eddie Hall. Not only is he the subject of trending Netflix documentary Eddie: Strongman, but his Facebook page is approaching three quarters of a million likes, with 10,000 new fans joining each week, and he draws huge crowds at the Strongman arena tour Giants Live.
The reason for Eddie's popularity is simple: he is the biggest name and the biggest talent in one of the fastest-growing sports. He is pure box office. And it's not just his fan base that is immense. Everything about Eddie is huge. Standing at six foot three, he weighs almost 31 stone, and to make it through his hellish four-hour gym sessions, he needs to eat a minimum of 11,000 calories. He puts himself under so much strain, his left eyeball once burst out of its socket.
In his remarkable autobiography, Eddie takes you inside the world of the professional strongman - the nutrition, the training and the competitions themselves. It's a visceral story of sporting achievement, of an athlete pushing himself to the limits, and the personal journey of a man on a path to being the best in the world.

Hope he writes another at some point. Only thing I could nitpick is that I wish Eddie had done the naration himself.

If you like listening to someone boast for hours, you'll love this book. I brought this book because his YouTube channel is good. I'm in chapter 12 and I don't know if I can go any further. it's just a boasting comp, it's not even interesting. reminds me of a lad from school.. who was a mug.

Typical Eddie Hall. 😆
Great listen. If you’re a fan of Eddie you’ll love this book. It’s written in typical fashion of how Eddie is as a person.
His sense of humour and how much he loves himself it’s what makes him a great guy and why we love him.
This book is both funny and at times emotional.
There’s a couple of reviews moaning that all he does is brag about himself... Well that’s what he does... that’s his sense of humour and if you’re a fan then you know that this is what he’s like and it’s funny to hear.
If you’re moaning about that then you’re obviously not an Eddie Hall fan.
This is my first audiobook and I loved it.
