Str8 B8 starts with the situation that many have found themselves in before, in financial dire straights and turn to doing adult videos for money. Tom's experience is slightly different as he was under the impression, from the friend who recommended this to him, that he would be with a woman but things turn out a little differently. Denny has been doing porn for several years now and is familiar with the setup but he's never quite lusted after and connected with a newcomer like Tom. When all said and done, Tom swears never again but an unexpected encounter with Denny has him questioning how things went, just how much he liked it and how much he wants Denny again.
These two men clearly have a strong connection right from the start and I like that Tom didn't really hold it against Denny for the deception. Denny is understandably wary with Tom only now exploring his bisexuality, given his previous history with an ex. I love both men's attitudes towards the adult entertainment industry. Even for Tom, who is new to the whole experience, he doesn't look down on those who work in it, is just extremely nervous about doing it himself. When talking, the two men have a very easy friendship that takes no time to develop to more outside of the studio. The trouble comes when knowing what is real and what is for the camera.
There are some great friendships here, as well. Tom is still best friends with his ex-wife and enjoys spending time with her and her girlfriend. He even has a very good use for some of the money he makes from the videos. Denny lives in a house share with four other people and they're a lot of fun to be around and super supportive of both his studies, a Masters in business and finance, and his job.
Another highly recommended read from this author. I will read anything that she brings out and it never disappoints!

It did take me a bit to get into the narration from Seb. I don't know if it was the accent but once I was in, I fell in love with Tom and Denny's story all over again, as Tom tip toes through his exploration with Denny.

This is a extra fun story. It is always interesting to me how an author will handle it. This is handled very well. Tom is cornered and needs money. He finds that doing a movie is one way he can get the money he needs quick. What he doesn’t know and finds out it will be a gay movie. Tom being straight but figures it’s a one-time thing and money is the deciding factor. Here he meets Denny. Denny is one of a kind. He treats doing movies as a job plain and simple. This puts Tom a lot more at ease. Straight or not, Tom has an attraction to Denny. It is quite a path they take to figure out how they will handle what’s between them and their future movie making. Seb Yarrick’s narration really brought this to life. He represented each character individually and made them believable.

An enjoyable love story, with a very interesting premise that surprised and amused me but that showed again how fertile and interesting is Ms Wells imagination. Tom and Denny are sweet together and it was so nice how they found each other. Mr. Yarrick captured perfectly the spirit of both characters and managed beautifully the steamy scenes. The narration was simply perfect! A wonderful narration!
