Summary

I hired her to be my girlfriend.

To fix my reputation.

To save my career.

It's not that I don't want a girlfriend. I do. I want it all. Wife, kids, side-by-side burial plots.

The problem is - I can't have any of it.

So I've made myself untouchable. The quintessential bachelor of baseball.

Because it's not worth the risk. Not even for someone I love.

Especially not for someone I love.

We made the arrangements.

We agreed to a contract.

It's iron clad.

No sex. No love. No future.

What could possibly go wrong?

Stealing Sawyer can be listened to as a standalone romance. It is Book Three in The Perfect Game Series.

Great ending to the Perfect Game Series.

Great ending to the Perfect Game Series.

Absolutely love Samantha’s books so listening to them in audio is amazing.

Sawyer is the bad boy of baseball, he needs someone to help his reputation and save his career.

Aspen’s so down on her luck, then she’s meets a tall dark stranger and everything changes.

Stealing Sawyer

This is a great third book in the series, with heart ache and pain, love and joy. Brilliantly read again by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber.

Fabulous series

I absolutely love listening to Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon, they work so well together. They work so well together. I found that j couldn’t pull myself away from this book. Worth listening too. But I would say to listen to the whole series in order. Great book!!

Loved sawyer

I keep saying this is the best book- and then I read another and change my mind... sawyer is a certified man-ho... sleeps with girls - but only once... until he meets aspen; he needs her to help him save his career, but they’re slowly falling for eachother - but there are barriers why he won’t let aspen in...

Beautiful ending, great story I didn’t want it to end

love this series

This series was so much fun to read. I totally binged after reading the first one. I was so excited to listen to Stealing Sawyer, especially because (come on!!) it's Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber. They brought me a different dimension to this story, because I did it read it first. This can be read as a standalone but I loved seeing the progression of the other character's relationships. Definitely will be a reread for me.

Great story, narration could use some improvements

Zachary Webber is as excellent as always. Erin Mollen is ok. She'd be great if she would stop dragging out the last sound of the late word of each phrase.

Perfect Story

this may be book three but, its a #1 for sure. the entire series is SO worth the credit or the $$. I love the way all the Characters are in all three books, Zachary Webber is One of the Top Male Voices and along with Erin Mallon, they bring the story to Life... A few twists and turns keep you wondering but, in the End its Happily Ever After..... I will For Sure read this series again and Again.

Love this book, female narrator not so much.

I had read this book previous to listening to the audible recording. I love Sawyer and his story. I have listened to a few other books with this female narrator and the way she speaks drives me nuts. she adds a breathy extra syllable to every word, so every word has "uh" at the end. When she says the female character's name is comes out as "Aspen-uh." It is distracting which is a shame because it's such a great story. Maybe it won't bug you though!

Oh Sawyer...

Just loved this series. All the H’s were great this book is no different. I do think the conquests were a little overboard but still an excellent book. It captures you from the beginning. I Listened during work and made time go fast. The narrators were excellent also.

Excellent book and series!

Like all Samantha Crristy books the characters always come from and stay entangled in dark places, so its lucky that love shines through for these guys. She deals with some hard issues in a great way. Love her writing!!

Fake relationship & baseball, where do I sign up?

Love me a good sports romance, especially when it’s baseball! The fake relationship was what drew me in and I’ll admit the heroine is what saved this romance for me.

The hero, Sawyer was immature and annoying , where as his heroine was the complete opposite. She tried to be as responsible as she could and tried to make people in her life lives easier. I could relate to the heroine because she had certain standards and even though she was being paid to be his girlfriend, she was more interested in her own reputation and how she was seen than the money. I almost felt like Sawyer didn’t deserve her because he had mommy issues he wasn’t addressing until her. He was just a male h*e who had no substance without his heroine so the author was wise in her choice of making them opposites attract.

I’m personally so tired of the emotionally detached hero who uses sex to mend all his issues. It just doesn’t work and I’m not sure why authors keep rehashing this trope but I still feel like it was a five star read for me because the heroine kept him on his toes.

But one thing I will say is that the author made the hero from New Haven, Ct and didn’t seem to have a clue about New Haven. I mean I should know, I’ve been living here for years😆 Walnut beach is In Milford, CT not NH and no teenagers hang out there after school😂 I just had to laugh at that because she actually should have interviewed people or spent some time here. The way she described how he grew up was also funny. If you live anywhere near the Yale campus, it is no where near run down. The downtown NH area has been gentrifiying for years and I really think she should have done her research if she was going to make someone from New Haven. Most places here are expensive unless you live in a subsidized area, which in Nh are far and in between!

Other than that I liked the book. Aspen was a heroine that needed to be paired with someone like Sawyer!

Love!

5 stars: The books / series impressed on me and i will recommend and reread this title.
I tell others about the story and or book(s) in regular conversation to expose the author.
I give my full support to this book.

I do not judge books based on the actor(s) / narrator(s) only the story line and content.
Thank you for your time, but to reinforce, i would reread and recommend this specific title.

I only give 5 stars in my top 10% of books.
