I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. WOW!!! This story was awesome. I couldn't stop listening. The author brought the listener in and didn't let go. The turmoil of Meghan's life, with it's ups and downs was explosive. What a magnificent story teller Ms. Riley is. Sarah Puckett is an excellent narrator and did a fantastic job with the characters, their personalities and the story. I look forward to more stories by this great author. She has me hooked on her stories.

Oh this book....Gia, you completely destroyed me. The emotion is fantastic. Sarah’s delivery of this book is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this book. It’s so so good.

I really wanted to love this book. I think this one would have been better read instead of listened to. I think this is a great story of 2 friends finding their way back to each other as more than friends this time but I just could not connect with the characters. Maybe it was the narrator? IDK but I stopped listening even though I wanted to know how it all turned out for them. Just couldn't hold my interest enough to get to the end.

This love story was a great childhood friends that became lovers later in life. You want Garrett and Lanny to be together through out the story, but when the big twist is revealed you may have some questions. This was treat to listen to and I just love Sarah Puckett in all she does.

Megs goes through a lot in this book, from finding a woman in her home when she comes home after a trip, her daughter Laney being involved in a car accident and learning her marriage is a lie, her life is thrown into turmoil. There were lots of twists and turns.

Megs, Laney and Garrett, were brilliant characters, particularly Laney who had the gift of the gab and would just blurt out whatever she had heard which made Megs blush several times in front Garrett. Garrett was caring and let Megs take the time she needed, never pushing her.
A great second chance romance, this is the second Gia Riley audiobook I have listened to and really liked, I need more!
