This collection was superb! I didn’t expect less from this author whom I already love. The stories are violent, bizarre and full of surprises. I’m often in awe of Jason Nickey’s mind as it can conjure all sorts of nightmarish tales, leaving me often disgusted but wanting more nevertheless.

This collection brilliantly showcases Nickey’s talent, not just for the plots and the twists, but for the prose too. I loved all stories, but as always some had affected me more than others and I was left speechless. His stories often leave the reader thinking well after the last word has been read or listened to and I felt the same with some of these too.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by C. J. Grey and it was great!

This is the perfect collection if you haven’t read this author yet, but beware as there are some triggers.
