About this listen

The Federation races to discover the culprits of several terrorist attacks, sending their flagship, the USS Prometheus, to stop war breaking out in the galaxy.

A dangerous evil is flourishing in the Alpha Quadrant. In the Lembatta Cluster, a curious region of space, fanatics who call themselves the Purifying Flame are trying to start a galactic war, and the warlike Klingons are baying for blood. The Federation have sent the USS Prometheus to settle the crisis, and the crew must contend with both the hostile Renao, the secretive inhabitants of the Cluster, and the Klingon captain of the IKS Bortas, who is desperate for war.

This was a very good book but the mispronunciations of well known Star Trek words annoyed me. Words such as Kahless, Khitoma accords, Betazoid and now Raktajino . He pronounced Raktajino as “Rakta ino” but it should be pronounced as rack-ta-keen-oh”. Apart from the reader pronunciation I enjoyed this book very much and can’t wait to listen to the next book

Yet again this reader has mispronounce Star Trek words

Another great book in the series. If you love Star Trek then this book is well worth a try.

Great 2nd book

First of all I'd like to confirm I indeed enjoyed this book but as for content on the first one it felt a little lacking but still full of plenty of star trek references and I believe that it's building up towards a big finale

Good but not as good as the first

This would be great as a Limited Series or even regular TV show. The story weaves names of well known Trek characters with new names, places and ships expertly.

My only small niggle is the Narrators mispronounciation of well known Trek names and phrases that I know grate on the nerves of my fellow Trek Nerds.

I enjoyed.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Never listened or read any of the star trek novels before and throughly enjoying the Prometheus story.
The only downside to the books is the narrator.
You'd think if you were going to narrate a Star Trek novel you would know how to pronounce some of the names/word etc it takes its away from the performance at times.

Great continuation
