Summary

For innkeeper Holly White, Christmas time in Mistletoe, Maine, is the ultimate holiday gift. Business at the Reindeer Games Inn is booming, her wedding to Sheriff Evan Gray is nearly here, and the annual parade is about to begin. The town is lucky to have another gift this year with the state’s ballet company staying for several performances of The Nutcracker. But disaster strikes when Tiffany, the lead ballerina, shows up dead on a float during the parade, the Rat King’s mask nearby. Holly will have to spruce up her sleuthing skills if she wants to catch the killer before Christmas—and her wedding day.

Immediately, Holly discovers that Tiffany had more than a few secrets. She finds out that the star of the show had a super fan that no one knows anything about. And the show’s understudy slips some other intriguing information Holly’s way: not only was Tiffany secretly seeing someone romantically, but there seems to be more than one rat in this company. When Holly discovers a secret passage leading to Tiffany’s dressing room, with footprints leading out, she wonders if this is evidence of a secret lover—or a stalking killer.

With an impending snowstorm and the ballet company on the way out of town, Holly must act quickly if she wants to find the person responsible for this terrible murder. Will she be able to save Christmas—or will her investigation turn cold like the weather?

Love this Christmas themed series 🎄❤

This is the fourth book in the series and it is well worth Reading the other 3 books before this one.
Lovely Cosy Mysteries, with lots of Humour and some Romance too.
I really hope that there will be more books to follow in this wonderful series.
Excellent writing and narration really bring the town of Mistletoe, Maine and its townsfolk to life ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Christmas cosy story

Enjoyed this story. Full of descriptions of Christmas and sweet treats and a little murder thrown in. Part romance and part mystery, I've loved listening to all in this series as I do my Christmas crafting.

Christmas again

I really like this series. If you’re thinking of reading or listening to this book, it’s better to read or listen to the other 3 books first, It has some great
characters like Cookie Cutter, Caroline and Chris (Santa). You’ll have to read them to understand. It really is a cosy mystery, as you’ll find out with the main character Holly and her family and friends.

Cosy Christmas mystery again

I really enjoyed the other books in this series and whilst they are very repetitive I still enjoyed this book. It’s just so Christmassy that it’s hard not to like with characters like Cookie Cutter😂 If you liked the other books in the series then you will certainly enjoy this offering too!!

One of the very best Christmas listens.

I have followed this series via Audible from the beginning. I love it so much I have now purchased the Kindle version. The plots are intriguing although in this one the denoument was rather predictable. The characters are lovely. Cookie and her goat are special. Sometimes there is rather too much 'padding' but some of the scenes are dramatic and well written. The continuity is questionable as are the timings: is it really possible to fit in so many things in the limited time span? The characters should be obese considering the amount of cookies, cupcakes, fudge and pies they eat, but they are not. Please tell me their secret. This really is a go to, feel good series at Christmas; I will be returning to it every year. The narrator is excellent with a good range of male and female voices.
