When Mallory Sweet finds herself jobless and still reeling from heartbreak, she does the unthinkable—impulse-buys a vintage trailer, adopts a stray cat, and hits the road toward reinvention. Mallory is overdue for a reset. Her reckless purchase turns into a fizzy new chapter: a traveling lemonade stand with a boozy twist, serving sunshine, sass, and liquid courage to small towns in need of a smile. Between caring for her mischievous aunt, building a business, and raising a kitten, Mallory begins to fall back in love with the woman she used to be.
Enter Jake. Charming, mysterious, and maddeningly persistent, he keeps popping up wherever Mallory lands. He’s funny, flirty, and way too confident for someone she definitely shouldn’t trust—especially with her heart still in recovery mode. But sparks don’t care about timing, and Jake might be more than the walking red flag she’s convincing herself he is. With a lemonade trailer, a stray cat, and her bruised heart along for the ride, Mallory must decide: keep running from heartbreak, or finally stop long enough to see if love has been tailgating her all along.

I loved this book. Mallory is hilarious, I love how impulsive she is from buying trailers at the side of the road, to saying whatever comes into her mind without thinking. She is brilliant and so relatable. She has such a lovely support network. I loved Jackson, he’s the big brother I always wanted, and Aunt Mel is great. Her friends are so lovely and supportive too.
Her relationship with Jake is great but not without drama of course. They have so many chance meetings, I think the universe was definitely pushing them together but I could scream at Bethany. I enjoyed the spice too, they have amazing chemistry.
The audiobook is a duet and I enjoyed the narration. They both have a great range of voices and emotion. It’s well paced and great sound quality.
Overall, it’s a funny, heartwarming book, that I devoured. It’s well paced and easy to read.
I rate it 4.5⭐️ and can’t wait to read more by this author.
Funny, spicy and relatable.
