This is a good book for almost any age and I like the tips for increasing the difficulty of the stretches. It's good to push yourself when you are ready also you don't get bored just stretching in one way.

useful information

The authors do an excellent job of explaining why your body needs to stretch, how to stretch, how not to stretch and how to use resistance or ballet bands to stretch more effectively.

Motivational

I am in descent ballet shape and stretch out every day. I cannot do the splits, yet. this book needs to do more stretches and warm-ups, then it is possible.

Deserve five stars

I'm such a punk when it comes to stretching. I know it's good, but it is certainly uncomfortable. When I do it regularly, I see differences but then I slack off.

I love this!

Stretching scientifically is the ultimate book on stretching. It includes the different types of stretches, their benefits, and provides guidance on setting up proper stretching methods and doing it best.

best BOOK

It use of common sense and research will make you re-think all the years of poor advice you have received on stretching. I have basically been stretching the same way that I was taught in junior high for the last 30 years.

I definitely would recommend this book

I knew everything about stretching, but I borrowed a friend's copy of Stretching Scientifically and my ego took a blow because I had never even heard of isometric stretching. Once I started applying it I instantly gained more flexibility.

A well worth

More of the book on how to stretch than a book of stretches, although there are some examples, it is more of a discussion of how to go about stretching more effectively, which is really great I have to say.

Very good

The instructions are easy to understand, and the information is highly useful. When the book is used as intended....follow instructions--the results are as rapid as genetics, discipline, and time allow.
