Back on track with Tony and Carol, although I found some of the attitudes a little dated. However, the narrator is bad - very patronising and some of the accents are just plain offensive.

Good but not good

I was delighted that a new book in this series was available and I listened again from the start. This story took some surprising turns which gave a different view of our 'heroes' Tony and Carol.
It felt like a filler though. Lots of scope for the next book but this story lacked the depth of a crime story that one comes to expect from this duo. I was left feeling that this book was introducing the next. Overall, not as gripping as the rest of the series.

Great series.

Weakest by Val
Main Storyline poor , almost like an afterthought to the carol and tony show .
Nice personal stories development
THe Scouse accent was one of the worst I have heard ... Like a very drunk john Lennon

I loved this story,a gripping tale but you picked the wrong reader. It needed someone who could cope with all the different accents.

exciting

The story is engaging even though certain elements seem blindingly obvious. The narrator's grasp of English accents is interesting to say the least and tended to distract me
