I love Jeffrey Deaver & although this is still a good read, in my opinion it’s not one of his best. The narrator has an extremely grating, lethargic voice which I found very difficult to concentrate on. Aside from my personal dislike of his voice, I also think him a poor narrator with little intonation or differentiation between characters. For me this it ruined the book somewhat & I therefore wouldn’t recommend this narration.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Not sure because it lacked so much..... a good plot, interesting characters, any real strategy.

What could Jeffery Deaver have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I know it was written early in his career so I imagine he's already done that.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Any with Connie in them because amongst the very slim pickings he was the most realistic.

Liked Connie.

Take out the references to sex, drugs, and swearing and this book reads like something out of Scooby Doo. Weak weak plot.
