About this listen

At 24, Harlow Robinson has run headfirst into a quarter-life crisis. Her high school girlfriends have dropped like flies, one wedding after another, forcing her into panic mode. It's fight or flight time, and flight wins - literally. She breaks off a loveless engagement with her childhood sweetheart and abandons a teaching degree to become a flight attendant for Omega Skies.

Now Harlow is living her best glamorous, single life as a self-proclaimed sky muffin, at least that's how it appears from the outside. But 3:00 a.m. wakeup calls and nights alone in hotels make the days blend into a blur of loneliness. When her seven roommates sign her up for the dating app Sparks, Harlow finds herself navigating an entirely new lifestyle with more men than she can handle.

What's a girl to do? Date them all, of course.

From New York Times best seller Wendy Higgins comes her first contemporary adult romcom. Please sit back and keep your seatbelts fastened because this will be a bumpy ride. Enjoy your flight.

Contains mature themes.

This was an exciting and fun book, please keep your tissues handy around the middle of the book. Don’t worry though as there is a HEA. The narrator did a great job with all the characters.

Absolutely Brilliant

This was an interesting look into the life of flight attendant 'Harlow Robinson' (no, not the 'Neighbours' Character) and her 7 flat mates in 'The Crash Pad' apartment and their stories of life in the sky!

I wish Harlow was stronger when it came to men, it took her most of the book to sort her love life out, which I found frustrating. Also the sex scenes didn't need to be so graphic, some things can be left to the imagination.

I did like the story though and the narrator did her job well. Yes I recommend this listen.
I am lucky that I didn't have to use a credit on this book as it was FREE to listen too through the Plus Catalogue included membership 🌠
