About this listen

Gerry Anderson, the hugely influential creator of UFO and Space: 1999, made a spectacular return to television in the early 1990s with Space Precinct—an exciting new series that mixed live-action drama with state-of-the-art prosthetics and animatronics to give a police procedural with a definite twist!

When a veteran New York cop transfers to a new precinct—the Demeter City Police Department on the planet Altor—he discovers the hard way that a life of crime is not a purely human pursuit! Lieutenant Patrick Brogan, Rob Youngblood and Simone Bendix try their best to maintain law and order amongst the melting pot of different alien races.

Lieutenant Patrick Brogan, a cop with the NYPD, needs a change.

When a botched ambush on an arms smuggling operation throws up more questions than answers, it seems all roads lead to the planet Altor. Applying for a transfer, Brogan must uproot his family to continue his investigations.

The lieutenant and his partner, Officer Haldane, find themselves involved in a case like nothing they've known before. Navigating their way through the streets of Demeter City with new, alien colleagues, they uncover a network of crime that stretches halfway across the galaxy.

But is the real threat closer to home?

I really enjoyed going back to the beginning and seeing the story that was never told, we get to meet all the main characters and see how it was that Brogan and Haldane ended up leaving earth. I loved it, as a massive fan im grateful to get anything new or extra.
