If he can come to terms with the mysteries of his past, he might just think about putting down roots in Highland Beach...

Great romantic story but...
Kitt is a great romance writer. The story was very good and well written. The narrator was hit and miss. Hard to hear a white person speak like a black person but otherwise narrator was not okay

Great
I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I didn't like that his mother and he didn't know how each other felt.
I didn't like how his grandparents handled the situation and they should be blamed for how things turned out.
I think his mother set up the relationship for Rachel and Lucas.
