About this listen

Open relationship. Threesomes. Online dating. Being twenty-something in London. Sounds like fun...right?

Eoin is doing great. He's 27, gainfully employed and in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend Rich.

Okay, so his best friend Jax is diving into yet another disastrously bad relationship and Eoin's going to be the one dealing with the eventual fallout. And his boss at the café, Rebecca, seems to have vanished, so somehow Eoin's left managing the place. And to be honest, he's not got much else going on.

But still, he's got his boyfriend Rich - steady, sensible and dependable Rich. That is, until Eoin's world is turned upside down when Rich announces that he wants an open relationship. Terrified of losing the man he loves, Eoin reluctantly agrees to this new arrangement, and stumbles into the world of dating with no strings attached.

Well written tale that is excellently narrated by the author. It was like I knew the characters personally & could feel the emotional rollercoaster they took through the exploration of their various relationships as they unfurled in the story.
Wonderfully funny! Look forward to the next outing from this author.

Great story & excellently narrated.

Excellently written and narrated by the author. The accents of the different characters were superb.

I loved the obtuse reference to Roald Dahl (see if you get it).

A really good tale of someone drifting along in their 20s until one day something happens to jolt them out of their routine and make them question the direction of their life.

Great descriptions starting with getting knocked off the bike, a childhood pastime of leaning against the wind, the loneliness of living in a London flat share and how to make the perfect flat white.

Hopefully this will be the first of many books we get to listen to from Mr Moriarty.

I loved this book. Bryan Moriarty narrates it beautifully and in Eoin he created a character I really cared about.

Completely brilliant all the way through. Humorous, romantic, intriguing, and charming. And with perfect narration. I didn’t want it to end, but the ending was perfect too!

LOVED this!
