This is a movie! I’m not of Haitian 🇭🇹 descent so can’t comment on how accurate the accent is, but Winston James’s narration took me on a journey which transcended this story. It was beyond amazing and I have listened to this audiobook twice in three days because I hear something new each time! Georgie Kimble was perfect for Leighton’s character due to her emotive cadence and I’m still recovering from iiKane’s flawless delivery as always! This book gave me some many life lessons and have me reflecting on my situation and learning not to take people for granted especially when life’s adversities get in the way of loving those closest to us. I don’t think Leighton stood a chance once Sienna waltzed into Jahad’s orbit. This reminds me of how ephemeral life is and how some relationships are for a reason and season. What is ours will never miss us in this lifetime. Miss Candice has blessed me beyond measure and the super talented narrators did justice to this beautiful work of art 💕💕❤️
