This book has elements of other litrpg but has its own twist and world building. It works well especially the gods getting involved. There is action, some intrigue and great potential but exploration could be better. That said the pace is good and there is a sense of purpose. There is humour too.

It's rare for UK based language and humour to be included in a litrpg usually it the American point of view, If you like or don't mind UK terms or humour this book is worth listening too.

The main character is focused, not very social, mostly on his own which I like. Panda is fun a good counter to the main character and just fun to imagine. The AI is odd and while some lines are very good other times its just mean and that could get boring some variety would be welcome.

The narrator did a great job and did elevate the story and listening experience.

I enjoyed this and look forward to the next book.
