About this listen

Sophistry: The Dark Art Undermining Truth is a groundbreaking exploration into one of humanity’s oldest and most dangerous deceptions. This book reveals the insidious techniques of sophistry, exposing how it manipulates thought, divides societies, and erodes trust in an age of unprecedented complexity.

Ethan Solace, an interdisciplinary psychologist and thought leader, takes listeners on a powerful journey through the shadows of manipulation, examining how sophistry infiltrates education, media, technology, and public discourse. This is not just another book on critical thinking—it is the first of its kind to focus entirely on sophistry, dissecting its origins, its devastating impact, and the paths to overcoming its influence.

These concepts are so important for everyone and most people don't realize it because everyone has blind spots and you don't know you don't know until you have a wake up call or never wake up. Dogma or perhaps conformation to societal norms for me at least all fall into the concepts that this audiobook questions. True truth or continually reassessing and uncovering is an art and a process, starting with awareness. Listen because without listening, you don't know what you don't know. You can reaffirm your strengths and look for opportunities and insights beyond your present state.
