As a young Catholic girl who grew up in the American Midwest on white bread and Jesus, Erin S. Lane was given two options for a life well-lived: Mother or Mother Superior.     What a beautifully written book. I can’t begin to imagine (or a scarier thought still, maybe I can) how much it took for Erin to write this and I thank her for it. With each chapter I felt like I was waking up more and more to my own beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. She balances story and teaching, challenging teaching, in an engaging way that allows for thoughtfulness.
