When you learn French at school, you rarely work at an advanced level. My goal with this course is to help fill that gap. This version is the audio edition. In this course, you will hear each line spoken slowly, then at natural speed. Listening to French without background scene noise prepares you to understand real dialogue in films and videos on YouTube.

You will quickly notice that French speakers — regardless of age, gender, or education — naturally use contractions in everyday speech. This program provides the film titles, transcripts, translations, and links to the original YouTube clips, including timecodes so you can easily locate each line spoken by the actors.

After completing all six courses, and applying the color-coding technique (highlighting letters that are not pronounced), you will reach a high level of autonomy. You will be able to take almost any French text online and read it the way French actors speak — which is how real French sounds in France.
