I found this book to be utterly brilliant, every page keeping the reader in the middle of the story and with each page turned drawing the reader further into the web of the story.
I actually couldn't put the book down and I was finished from start to end within a few days.
The narrator gave each character body and is an excellent story teller. I highly recommend. Very much enjoyed.

This series has me enthralled. Love the characters, their storylines, brilliant narration! I just re reread the first three before this latest. And these last two had some laugh out loud moments. Love them.

I have listened to all 4 in this series over the last fortnight. All excellent , well crafted and expertly read. I can’t wait for the next one. Love the Mina’s character especially.

I was gripped from the first chapter. Rounded characters and a really exciting storyline. I have enjoyed all of the authors novels so far. I can’t wait for the next Adam Tyler adventure

I read a review of the 3rd book in the series by chance and realised that the book had obviously been read in isolation. To fully grasp the wonder of Russ Thomas's oeuvre, the books must be read in sequence. Having just finished SLEEPING DOGS I am now bereft at the loss of DS Adam Tyler and his supporting cast of characters 😢Listening to this series has taken up the last month of my life and it's going to be hard to find something to fill the void. What makes this series so especially compelling is Jamie Adams tour de force reading (performance would be a better word!) He breathes life into each character, making them REAL. It truly is worth reading the whole series and should the publishers decide to put all four books into one big book, it would make for the most superb holiday reading!!!! My congrats to all involved. I LOVED THIS SERIES and desperately hope it's NOT THE END of DS Adam Tyler and DC Mina Rubani..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Mr Thomas....WRITE MORE! YOU HAVE FOUND A NEW FAN and so has Jamie Adams. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I URGE YOU TO READ THE SERIES!!!!!
