About this listen

The first audiobook in the best-selling and multiaward-winning Slated trilogy.

Kyla's memory has been erased, her personality wiped blank, her memories lost forever.

She's been Slated.

The government claims she was a terrorist and that they are giving her a second chance - as long as she plays by their rules. But echoes of the past whisper in Kyla's mind. Someone is lying to her, and nothing is as it seems. Who can she trust in her search for the truth?

Book 1 in the acclaimed Slated trilogy.

I really like the story, and the narration.

Only thing I did not like that much, is the really girly way it is.
The main charqchter is 16, she think and acts more like a 12 year old...

Nontheless, I really like the story and will purchase book 2 just now as I finished this review

Great Book, a little soft hearted though

I found it really easy to get immersed in this book from the get go. The narrator was great too.

Loved this book & narrator

This was an awesome story of mysterious forces and government conspiracy set in the near future, following a strong but confused and naive teen as she ties to find herself and survive after having her memories surgically removed.

I was on the edge of my seat half the time, lulled into false securities the rest, and always wanting to know what happened next.

I found Kyla could be a little whiny at times, mainly at the beginning of the book, so couldn't give it a 5 but it was definitely close!

It hooked me, and now I need the next one!

I have been reading and listening the Slated books for a long while now. Seven years now and still, it is still my favorite go to book series. When the audio book came out I was a little skeptical at first. I didn't like the voice but I soon got used to it and now, to this day at 22 I am appreciate the time and effort put into reading this book series.
Listening to it has made me understand the book even more with Kyla's and Ben's emotions towards one another and the running.
It helps me visualize where they are and what the characters are feeling. When they are happy, so am I. When they are sad, I feel it.

If you're wondering if you should get this book, I'd defiantly say yes. It is worth it. Book and Audio Book. One or the other.

Amazing

The way Terry Teri describes the felling of the characters is divine. It is like an emotional roller coaster. I absolutely loved this book and I really recommend it.
