I wish more of these were available in the UK as only book 16 is. I was such a fan of the books as a child, I heard the preview of this and thought, wow what a neat idea, a back story of the characters I grew up with! This did not disappoint at all. The performance is brilliant, especially the voice and laughter of Slappy. What I loved most was, R.L. Stine speaks himself. There is a surprise at the end, I wont ruin with R. L. Stine. But at the start, when he says "Listeners beware, you are in for a scare." It reminded of the Goosebumps episodes he did the intro's on and guess what? hearing that, I got Goosebumps!
