Don’t do accents if you can’t handle them, or if you’re going to change them halfway through. Maybe it’s ”unfair” coming from a native Swedish speaker, but honestly – I started listening to this without having read the blurb, and I had to go back and look it up in writing to figure out what the main character’s name was supposed to be. Why not just use a Swedish-speaking narrator? It wouldn’t have been impossible to find.

The story was OK, and it was good to have a different storyline to usual. the performances of the book were distracting. The accents were terrible, and they really should not have tried. at points, they were borderline inappropriate. if you should Jamaican when trying to be Spanish, then I'd recommend not doing an accent.

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of LP, but these accents in this narration are irritatingly poor. How does The name Larsson become Lotion, for a Swede it would be pronounced like Larshon. The story line was okay if a little far fetched. The romance factor was good and sweet. Overall slightly disappointing because I've really enjoyed LK's previous work.

I loved this story, an entertaining romance with great characters and some great sparky dialogue but I struggled with the narration, Lori Prince is easy to listen too but her accents are really poor when they were there at all.
