The tagline "A dark and twisted enemies-to-lovers retelling of Anastasia" had me sold on this story already.

Dominic McCallum has forced Angel into the shoes of Alexandra Romanov, the missing heiress of a Hollywood massacre. I've been a fan of Cora Kenborn since I first picked up Blurred Red Lines and this Hollywood Underbelly Mafia story is just as epic. I really liked Angel and Dominic. The twists, mixed with the mystery and intense situations. I think the whole retelling translated really well to the LA scene. Must say I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Told in dual narration by Mollie Stark and Tanner DeBruyne the storytelling is pure fire.

Fantastic retelling of the story of Anastasia in a modern, Hollywood setting. So many twists and turns in the story of Dominic and Angel. The violence she endured as a little girl was truly terrible and can be a trigger for some.

I was drawn in to this story right from the beginning. I enjoyed the way Cora Kenborn revealed the story in pieces with a fantastic ended. The narration by Mollie Stark and Tanner DeBruyne elevated the characters and brought them to life for me.

This is an excellent story filled with so many people I twists and turns that you don’t find out the real truth until the very end!!

Damian is looking for the Romanov heiress whose family was murdered many years ago. He wants the money offered…. But could there be other reasons?

Angel Smith works in a bar, she looks enough like Alexandra Romanov to be her…. He convinces her to play the part.

There are a LOT of twists and turns in this story that grab your attention and hold you till the very end!!! You don’t know everything until the epilogue.. and I love that. I supposed a lot of the story as I listened, and some I was right on, and others I was not.

Mollie Stark and Tanner DeBruyne were new for me, but they were good with the characters and their voices were pleasant.

What a book with twists and turns and a psychological thriller . A gripping story that kept me hooked from the start. A steamy yet twisted story that will tear at your heart. Angel and Dominic have a chemistry and connection like no others
Angel wow what she went through. Dominic has some demons for sure and these two clash.

This has been an intriguing, rivetting tale which has kept my attention throughout. I loved it. It has a fantastic mystery, all the evil that is attached to abusive power and angels where you would expect devils. Mollie Stark and Tanner DeBruyne both narrated with passion and conviction. They captured the heart of this twisty story and made it a listen which has been fabulous. 💖💖💖💖💖
