This is the second in the Harder They Fall series and as always Julia does not disappoint. I was a little in love with Luca from book one so I was already hooked.
Luca is a womanising arse who has been forced to step up to run the family business when his father falls ill.
Saoirse is a sassy strong willed girl, with a heart that refuses to ignore anyone in need. She first meets Luca at his penthouse during a party and they have a one night stand. She is unaware his best friend is her roommates Fiance and takes a job temping at Luca's family business. She is independant, stong and not interested in men, having watched her parents rip each other apart.
Luca is told in order to clean up his image he needs a wife. Unaware she has taken a job at his firm, Luca approaches Saoirse with an offer to marry him for 2 years, after which she will be free to go back to her life. She agrees ,they marry and although they live under the same roof, spend most of their time avoiding each other and the arrangement becoming more than, well an arrangement.
At times I wanted to shout at Saoirse to stop being the girl who can't refuse anyone, including Luca, and look out for herself and for once grab what she wants. I wanted to shake Luca until his eyeballs rattled, and make him see the amazing woman right there in front of him.
Julia always gives us characters we fall in love with and these people are no exception. You are going to love them and at times hate them a little. It is great to meet Lock( Saoirse's brother) and Elena, who is still as abrasive as ever, again. This book has left me wanting more and I am hoping we will see Luca and Saoirse again in what hopefully will be Elliot's story. In the meantime grab Dear Grumpy Boss the first in this series and meet Weston and Elise, you will love them.

Love saoirse she is such an amazing character and Luca how you see the other side to this playboy character. They compliment one another and have to help each other with their past and present situations and family drama.
