Wow, Book #3 in this Demigods of San Francisco series was tension filled.😳 We learn so much more in this book. Finding out what magic each of the Six actually holds was a shocker!!😎✨ Lexi continues to train, but they've upped the stakes with her & want her to try & break through to where the soul resides! As reluctant as she is, she knows it's practical if she's to be of any real help to Kieran when the war comes!!😳
Zorn continues to train Daisy or 'the gremlin' as the Six have affectionately nicknamed her, because of her devious fighting style 😂 Mordecai continues to benefit from most of them training him, but Jack seems to have taken point as the other shifter. 👍 The psycho shifter who killed his Parent's decides to make his move on Mordi 😢 Its actually illegal to challenge anyone under 18yrs and at 15 he certainly isn't allowed to be challenged, but how did he even find out he was still alive??😕
There are some non shifter 'Mate' type happenings continuing to go on 😉🔥💘🔥 How there's no contraception failures in this book, with the amount they have going on, I just don't know.🙈🔥 Awww, they're seriously in love & it's gorgeously imperfect!💘😍🎉
The slow background unravelling of what has happened to Demigod Valens 'Spirit Trappers' is excruciating, not knowing when that hammer will drop & what will happen when it does? Yep, it's nail biting, but then knowing he hasn't realised everything else that Kieran, Alexis, the Six, and Bria have been putting in place & planning actually knots your tummy. But the real underlying terror for me came from knowing he is as yet unaware his wife's spirit has been freed - omg, it's enough to make you pee your pants!!😱😭😳
There are many, many laugh out loud & giggle fest moments throughout this book even during the most dire & extreme times you can always rely on Bria or Daisy, usually, to say or do something that will lighten the atmosphere to bearable again!!🙏😃 I was really impressed with Lexi bolstering Daisy when she became overwhelmed with being 'just human' surrounded by magical people 💕 It obviously sank in & stuck with her. It was really inspiring!!😍 I love how proud Zorn is of her, too. He's such a magical bad@ss but truly sees her potential!!🌟
I understand the author plans to write more in this world. Thank you, K.F Breene 🙏💕 I feel so utterly invested in these characters. I feel like there's so much more to know, especially after that epilogue!🙈🔪
