loved the range of voices

I loved this entire series. I especially loved the narrator's ability to infuse a voice to each character giving life to the many stories encapsulated in the series. Well done.

Love the series, this isn't one of the best books in it though

Series is fantastic and I've been glued to every book so far. This book lost a little of my interest in parts, which is unusual for the author and series. But it also has some great parts in this book too. So

Tumultuous reading!

I laughed, fretted and cried with this book. I started it with trepidation as the last book lead me through gamut of emotions and such sadness at the loss of Knox I almost couldn't bring myself to listen to this book but I'm so glad I did. Well done Dannika Dark.

Tissue-fest

Any additional comments?

Silver’s talents explode when she is faced with a life or death experience and there’s no turning back. Justus can’t protect her and he has other things on his mind while Christian’s job as her guard becomes increasingly more difficult. When Silver’s lineage is finally fully revealed things begin to make sense but can she prove it before it’s too late?

This is not only another tearjerker from Dark but an all-out, epic tissue-fest. I listened to this book via the audio version which was handy because I could not put it down. The emotional content is finely woven and Silver’s character just gets better. What is amazing is that the reader can become so invested in all the characters within the series that it becomes quite addictive.

Dark has a serious talent for creating characters with emotional integrity and that is what readers crave.

whole series

What made the experience of listening to Shine the most enjoyable?

the plot twists and turns some things were unexpected, I enjoyed the whole series after listening to one after the other I am back at the start to listen again you really need to listen to all of the books to follow silver path

What other book might you compare Shine to, and why?

its an amazing book I cant say what other books its reminded me of as i have listened to a lot of books on breed

What does Nicole Poole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Nocole's narration of the books meant it was a constant story throughout the full book giving you the sense of continuity

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes but had to give up at 3am to get some sleep, funnily enough I felt the same was of all the series

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend the Mageri series to anyone who enjoys a great book with plenty of unexpected twists and turns, Dannika Dark has been a very good author in most of her books I have listened to hope she keeps it up

Love this series and great Book!!!

I have been pleasantly surprised by this series. I stumbled upon the 1st book and i have been hooked ever since. The Narrator has very smart and sassy voice. The Characters are multidimensional. It's been awhile since a book has thrown some surprises at me and left me with having to rewind to make sure i heard correctly. I have Laughed out Loud and been close to crying as well. Dannika has now become one of my favorite authors and i hope that there is a spin off of this series or a surprise book that pops up.
Highly recommend

A Must Read Series

This series is just great. I have been hooked ever since I read the first book. The Narrator has a great voice for characters. The Characters are full of life and personality kind of like Olivia Cunning books although different subject matter. She also develops the Characters and makes you love each of them. This is like Jeaniene Frost. I am so glad that I was able to find a series that wants me to read until I am out of books and need the next one to cure my fix. You will laughed out Loud.
Highly recommend

Phenomenal last book in this series!

Phenomenal last book in this series!  It was bitter sweet reading Shine the last book in the Mageri Series.  This book has it all.  You will love, cry, hate and just feel.  Tons of twist and turns and shocking revelations.  It was nice to see how Silver has grown throughout this series and how her relationship with Logan has also grown.  All in all you will feel that the main characters in this book like Silver, Logan, Justus & Paige come to a point that you are happy with by the end of this book but you also get that same feeling for secondary characters like Adam, Novis, Sunny, Finn and Logan’s brothers Leo, Levi, Lucian and Sadie. I do feel that Simon’s story isn’t complete and the same goes for Christian’s story.  I would definitely like to read more about them.  In the end I must say I truly loved this whole series and I am sad to see it end. Again Nicole Poole has did an amazing job narrating this book.

Loved this series

Sad to see it finish. I hope DD does more spin offs so we can see how these characters are doing. Loved that Logan and silver appear as Lakotas adoptive parents in the seven series!!!!

Great last book!

Any additional comments?

This book was a great wrap up to the series. We learn a secret about Novice & Page; the reason Finn's wolf is protective of Silver; the gift of sacrafice; that revenge can be electrifying; that one can change their outlook on life; family means everything; & that miracles do occur. The only thing I wish ended differently was Christian's story. A great series that I highly recommend!

Oh. My. Goodness!!!!

If you could sum up Shine in three words, what would they be?

Breathtaking, Climactic, Emotional

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shine?

The WHOLE book is memorable. To describe any of them, would be giving away important points in the book. To quote from Sterling, "Dying isn't the hardest thing you'll ever do--living is." This book will leave you begging for more from these amazing characters.

Which scene was your favorite?

Again, the whole thing!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The good, the bad, the happy, the sad! Its all there. Every emotion one can feel will be felt while experiencing this book, but in the best possible way!

Didn't outSHINE the other books

The wrap up book just didn't have the feel of the other books. Things seemed to fall together too easily and too quickly for all the characters. Even with the ending easily figured out, it seemed for a final novel, there was an abundance of loose ends, Kane and Sunny for instance. I enjoyed the series, even though this installment just felt lacking. At least it didn't leave me mad at the end, as some series do.
