I've read all of Selena's books and this is another gem from her, I loved it. Amazing narration too.

My new favourite author. I was totally absorbed by the characters and the story. The narrator was fabulous and when Ansell calls Ruby, ‘darling’ in a Texas drawl, he makes me go weak at the knees. I asked my husband to imitate it LOL.

I really enjoyed this series, which is composed of 5 books. The premise is that there is a world, Herta, where shifters are discriminated against, enslaved and tortured. Throughout the books, we follow a couple (and their family- each book builds upon the other) as they try to save more shifters from this awful world and try to bring them to Earth. Plenty of heroics, lots of steam and just overall, great characters make this series a fun read and listen. While I would have loved for the audiobook to have a male and female narrator, Craig Hart did a great job playing multiple characters and infusing his narration with a good amount of emotion consistent with the story. I am loving Selena Scott's shifter stories. I bought her ebook but requested and received the audiobook and i'm happy to have the opportunity to both read and listen to these fun stories.

Having read these books when they were released I wondered if listening to them was a good idea, would the narrator hit the note I heard in my head when I was reading them? The short answer is the narration by Craige A Hart definitely lifted these enjoyable books and took them to a higher level. The stories are all good don't get me wrong, the author imbued the characters with great personalities and each story is well-written and flows well. This is a series where you MUST listen to the books in the order they were released to fully understand them so another reason to grab this Collection!

The world-building is also good, very descriptive which really brings an extra level to the books.

I enjoyed all of these stories and being able to listen to the whole series one after the other was so good.

I was given this audiobook collection as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
