Shelter from the Storm is the second book in the Perfect Storm series. This Theo Storm's book. Gretchen has left her life to hide out from her abusive ex. She starts a new job in a small town. Theo Storm is Gretchen's new boss. He knows from the first hand shake that Gretchen is someone special. When Gretchen's past comes back to haunt her Theo and the other Storms' step in to protect what is theirs. I loved their connection.

Grace Noble and Jarman Day did a fantastic job narrating this book.

What a sweet sexy book. I love how this Alpha helps the leading lady to grow stronger in herself. It’s a story about a true survivor. A brilliant performance.

You can escape your past. At least that is what Gretchen is hoping. Leaving her abusive relationship to start fresh in Gracemont is her hope. Theo has hired her as the new event planner and the instant that they met, he knew exactly what the his grandfather spoke of. Love at first sight. But her skittishness kept him moving slowly. He could wait. The bigger question is could he keep her safe from what was coming? This is a fabulous story. Not only a slow burn, but the community and family that enveloped Gretchen grabbed me in too and made us all feel safe and loved. Mari Carr has a way of writing that always pulls me in,and this series is no exception. Fall in love this weekend and grab this fabulous listen!

Jarman Day and Grace Noble are the amazing story tellers who let me enjoy this listen. Day as Theo has all the charisma and warmth in his voice to make Gretchen feel loved and safe. Noble as Gretchen instilled the fear and slowly let her come to feel the love of family and Theo. These two made the listen and I enjoyed their performance.

I love the idea of a family finding their soulmates with one touch. Theo Storm has watched his brother fall in love with Cassie and when Gretchen walks into his winery to start her new job as event planner their first touch ignites something in them both. Gretchen is running from a past that might catch up with her. Loved this book and loving this series got a sneak leak on who’s up next can’t wait.

Brilliant narration from Jarman Day and Grace Noble who bring drama, pace , romance and chemistry to your ears.

Gretchen has started a new life in Gracemont leaving her abusive ex behind. New life, new job. Theo hires her as a new events planner and he falls for her from the first meeting. He understands why she pulls away and knows that he must go slow because she is worth the wait. With an ex, he must now keep Gretchen safe.
This book has family, community, love and romance. Amazing characters.
