With the threat on Tanila's life, Max gives into the black skill: Consume.

It has evolved, and the destruction it brought was glorious, frightening, and overwhelming.

Now, with the new growth and power that came with it, Max and the others find themselves once again fighting against difficult odds as they make a push to get strong enough to reach the tower.

loved it

The story continues to interest me, unlike many in this genre it has not peaked too soon and the characters have not collapsed into emotional intellectual wrecks
However the narrator's attempt at Scottish/Irish/Welsh/Swedish/German/French/Cockney accent has been a complete failure I suggest he avoids it in future.
The screaming and shouting completely ruins whole chapters I find myself having to making an educated guess as to what was said and the "voice" of the Dragon and ancient are so incoherent I can't even guess what was said they quite frankly we're in the running for the most annoying noise over nail being dragged down a blackboard.
Then there's the excitab!e rambling when narrating battles which seem to be mimicking a machine gun than giving a run downright fight.I completely passed whole chapters.

Story is great just a great pity about the narration

can the romance side of it either commit to consistency or just end entirely. overall a solid addition to series

solid work

there are parts to the story where the narrator sounds great, using the main characters voice, when he has to use any other character it sounds not so. when he voiced the dragon and the ancient God (where his servant has the same voice?) I honestly cringed the whole chapter

great story, awful narrating

liked the main plot and story in general, but at the secoud book about midway the characters constant whining etc and now in this, with the continual crying 24/7 and love interests, i could no Longer keep trying to ignore it, its just to annoying for me. i will sadly not be getting the 5th book.

good story BUT...
