Fantastic

Both the storyline and the narration is a perfect example of the talent that book narration should be about. I simply cannot find all the tingly, positive words that describe how great this book was and how much I enjoyed it. The narration especially will go on my top narrators list and I am more likely to buy a book from this narrator again. Well done!!

Terrible narrator- More suited to 13-14 year olds

First of the narrator made this nearly impossible to enjoy. I couldn’t finish it.
She sounds so young and makes the main character so pathetic. Unless that was the actual idea I’m not sure.
The story seemed really interesting but horrible narration and the overly flowery language just ruined it for me.
So disappointed as I was really looking forward to reading this series.
Will be noting this Narrators name and avoiding for future.

Not for adults

I can’t decide if it’s the narration of the softly spoken very young main character who does not sound 17. It really grated on me and made me cringe. Or if it’s the storyline of a weak heroine but I would not recommend this for adults and is more a book for 13/14 year old would probably be perfect.
I probably would have finished this book had I read it and not listened to it.
