About this listen

A crime most puzzling indeed!

According to Deena Sharpe's editor, someone in Maycroft is trying to steal a body from the funeral home, and it's her story to investigate. But the body isn't who they think it is, leaving the authorities with some explaining to do. The plot twists will have reader's dizzy as Deena's neighbor spins the wheel and watches his fortune run out.

Not only is Deena wrestling with a strange case, Gary has started a new business and wants more of his wife's attention. Can she juggle her work and his needs as well?

Sharpe Wit is book eight in the Second Act Snoop Mysteries. If you like your mysteries cozy, heart-warming, and humorous, you'll love this story of mischief and murder. Get your copy now.

If there was ever a character who attracts murders, Deena Sharpe would be it! She has a penchant for seeing beyond the obvious, so where there may be a possibility of a mystery, she sees it coming! As her name suggests, she is sharp with a tenacious and inquisitive mind. She is quirky with equally quirky characters around her. Except perhaps her husband, Gary, who is a straight laced accountant and the perfect yin to her yang. If you have enjoyed other books in the series, this audiobook certainly delivers the same level of enjoyment.

As always, Lisa B Thomas brings the town of Maycroft alive with suspense, murder and a whole lot of humour. I particularly enjoy Kelley Hazen's narration of the book. She brings additional texture to the story which seems to be the ideal match!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
