Summary

You don’t choose the academy. The academy chooses you.

The last of the Culling Trials is here. I foolishly thought I’d survived the worst. My team is falling to pieces around me, and my heart is shattered for the losses I’ve endured. But I can’t stop when I’m so close to the end. There are too many people depending on me.

I foolishly thought there wasn’t much more I could lose...until the nature of my bloodline comes to light. I’m not who I thought I was. Not what anyone thought I was. But to tell people the truth would be to kill us all.

To fail the trials will mean death, but to succeed might damn me for life.

Pretty good

The ‘baddie’ was a bit of a disappointment for me, felt like an anti-climax and there were portions of the story that I didn’t understand.
But it was fun and exciting with plenty of danger and action and a touch of romance. Loved the main character, so refreshing to see a girl written this way. She’s strong, daring and wicked smart. Wish all females were written so well.

Shadowspell Academy: The Culling Trials

The Third book finds out all the mysteries and puts most things to right, Wild finds out how special she really is. Loads of fun to listen to thanks to Khristine Huam.

This trilogy is one book split in 3

These are not 3 separate books, this is one book broken up in thirds. Really quite angry that it cost me 3 credits. It is a good book though.

Audible Suspicion other wise I’m now a fan of the world of Wild!

Like o have said from the beginning this series of books feels more like Parts of 1 book ripped into 3 parts. It’s a bit miss leading to say the least.

Part 1 fell short and didn’t catch my interest till 1/2 way through. I almost gave up and stopped reading it.

Part 2 I was hooked from the end of Part 1 and had to see how the story progressed. Which lead me to...

Part 3 overall it is a great story! A bit short and could of used more scenes and character development. Shawdowspell - The Culling Trails Series . To be able to get lost in a Series is the ultimate desire.

Now the suspicious starts I was under the impression there was only 3 books in this series. Audible lists it as only 3 Books in the Series. Which is beyond FALSE.... The story does go on to like a Sub Series The Chamaeleon Shadow Spell Academy.

When I looked up the Author/Book Series it’s described as a 6 Book Series with intentional cliffhangers. I Whole hardly feel that audible left this out and really should be listing it as a 6 book series and not a 3 book series.

Shame on Audible for confusing the readers - please change the listing to encompass all 6 books. There were a lot of reviews I read that encouraged to not read and those readers didn’t go on to read the other parts. It’s a shame since I pushed through part 1 and glad I did.

love the series

someone describe this as Harry Potter meets Hunger Games I think that's pretty accurate I really enjoyed this book so much that I finished all three of them in a little over a day

you have a strong female lead which seems to be the new Norm but unlike a lot of books she doesn't go all girly and weak depending on a man to save her she stays strong

Awesome!

I’m not one to read academy series, but since K.F Breene and Shannon Mayer were the authors, I knew there was no way I could not read this series. I was so glad I did! It was everything and more!
Love loved it!

Book 4 Now!

I was surprised I liked this series. Once I heard Kristine Hvams voice...it took me back to the vamp hunter series. Thankfully...it was just as riveting. This is a great series and I absolutely can't wait for the next books.

Danger, betrayal, twists, & FRamily bonds

I absolutely love this series! A perfect listen for those with a Harry Potter or Katniss Everdeen hangover!
Though another short listen, book #3's amazingly lethal trials and unforeseen revelations make Wild and her crew of misfits go through the wringer with ALL the excitement. With a loss of epic proportions, they still ultimately come out on top, stronger than before. Sheltered Wild unveils a mystery that still needs understanding, a history she's been left in the dark about her whole life, but it doesn't slow her down. I look forward to book #4 hopefully to discover the root of this new information.

The narrator's various voices and accents make each individual come to life, and all emotions ring through true.
