Wow, this was a new one for me but I completely enjoyed it and in a way did not want it to end.

I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.

I get a lot of people enjoy those Why Choose? sort of romances but personally theres just something about this being actual Wolves, with Actual Alpha's that has me taking a bit of an issue with the RH aspect growing here.

Myra has spent her entire life avoiding others while attempting to hide from herself. Eventually, she is discovered and joins the Ash Wolves. The addition of the zombie element made the plot more thrilling, and the fact that Myra was immune to them made you attempt to figure out why, I think this mystery part of the story is what kept me invested, especially as the RH aspect just wasnt for me.

Krys Janae was a great narrator. Ends on a cliffhanger but I dont think I'll be getting the next book to see if Myra is reunited with her soldiers and is saved.

First, I like to start with how well this audiobook is narrated. Aside from having a beautiful voice, Krys Janae truly captures the characters and literally brings the story to life. As for the story, the Shadowlands Sector is a wonderfully written and an enticing reverse harem shifter romance. Mila Young has done a fabulous job with the storyline and characters, I genuinely enjoyed every minute of this audiobook, one I'd recommend.

First book I listened to by this author and unexpectedly loved it! It started a bit slow in my opinion but really picked up and can't wait for the next one!
only thing is that sometimes the narrator voice sounded a bit robotic, as if it wasn't a real human reading but a machine
