My first title by this author and I had no idea what to expect, but it was just what I needed for a bit of light entertainment. A full throttle adventure through the Amazon with excitement and a bit of the unexpected and fantasy elements thrown in. Narrator was a perfect fit, and did a sterling job. If you want a literary epic then look elsewhere, but for a quick blast of escapism, it's top drawer.
