I listened to the full audiobook in the car with my 12-year-old son. Even though he’s not technically a teen yet, the book was super relevant and relatable—especially when it came to managing his emotions during stress or anger. We both had a few good laughs because it honestly felt like the book was written just for him, especially the parts about sportsmanship. He even said, “Okay, that’s actually me,” more than once.

The narrator was outstanding, he was really engaging and easy to listen to, which made a huge difference. We’re definitely planning to give this book another run-through. The book does an awesome job of making emotional control and mindset feel very doable and not at all overwhelming. Highly recommend this for any teen (and their parents too!)

This is a wonderful audiobook that we found was very relatable to teen boys,. It is written and read exactly as it should be and was able to capture and hold our attention throughout which is not always easy. Really liked the way the audiobook was well organized. We also were able to relate to and better understand the concepts when the examples of various situations were included. Overall, fantastic book to help teens better understand some of their emotions.
