About this listen

Have you ever wondered how different your life would be if you increased your confidence by just 10%? Paul McGee has – and in this audiobook, he explains what confidence is, where it comes from, why it's important, and how to develop it in yourself and others. Not only does the audiobook deal with confidence in business, romance, social situations, and all areas of life, it explodes common myths, including why 'over-confidence' and 'under-confidence' are both harmful. Loaded with practical tips on bouncing back from a setback and feeling confident in challenging situations, this inspiring, upbeat audiobook will help fill you with life's X factor.

Paul McGee is one of Europe's leading motivational speakers and coaches, combining practical strategies with both inspiration and realism. He has spoken in 31 countries to date and is the author of several audiobooks, including the best-selling Self-Confidence and S.U.M.O. (Shut Up, Move On). Building on his academic background in behavioural and social psychology, Paul is also a trained counsellor, a performance coach and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

This is a good book for those struggling with their confidence or with public speaking. There are some good tools however it was a little basic for me.

Good Book - Takes things back to basics

Would you try another book written by Paul McGee or narrated by Paul McGee?

I did. He know what he's talking about and is an amazing performer with great ideas. His books are necessary "first steps" and light enough not to overwhelm but you'll definitely need a deeper book on the topic when you're done.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I like it the way it was. It serves it purpose perfectly. It is the starting point.

Did Self Confidence inspire you to do anything?

Make changes in my life and dive deeper into the subject.

Any additional comments?

A fantastic starting point to those with confidence and self esteem issues, as well as those with feelings of self-doubt.

A great starting, but you'll need more!

I believe that if this book wasn't narrated by such an irritating voice it would be alot more appealing.

Despite this I did enjoy some chapters yet some were laborious. I finished the book but don't think I will be re reading.

Some interesting points but the narrative grinds.

nice short listen, good examples and passionate narrator/author.

I would like more "scientific" evidence instead of examples from his life.

nice listen

Enjoy it because it was relatively simple in its content. Narration is good like with SUMO.

Good comfortable read.
