Summary

Julian ist zweiundzwanzig, mit der Trennung von Judith kommt er nicht klar, obwohl er sie gewollt hat. So übernimmt er in Professor Behams Garten die Pflege eines Zwergflusspferds, das bald den Rhythmus dieses Sommers bestimmt: es isst, gähnt, taucht und stinkt. Julian weiß, das Zwergflusspferd will ihm etwas sagen. Doch er ist abgelenkt von Aiko, der Tochter des Professors, in die er sich ernsthaft verliebt.
