Summary

Madison Myers is a hard-working assistant to one of LA's top talent agents. Determined to make a respectable name for herself in the business, the last thing she wants in her life is singing sensation Walker Rhodes, with his nonstop tabloid-filled antics and bad boy behavior. But after he pulls her onstage during one of his concerts and serenades her in front of thousands of screaming fans, all bets are off. She doesn't want to give in to his charms, but Walker is relentless and keeping a secret of his own. A secret that changes everything between them.

3.5 Stars

This book was short and sweet. For the length, I was surprised at how much I liked the characters, usually I don't feel the connection in shorter books but in this one I did for sure. I did find this book to be a little on the unrealistic side or maybe even a little cheesy with his "secret". If the past was such a big deal to her that she goes into panic mode when faced with it then how is it possible she doesn't see it? I really liked Walker and how down to earth hes is. I also cheered on Madison when she stood up for herself, I love a strong female character. Their chemistry was sizzling too.

Erin Mallon was the reason I decided to check out this book. She is my FAVORITE narrator and because of her I have found a lot of hidden gems I probably wouldn't have tried with another narrator.

Too short

I really wanted to explore their relationship a little more. Even another 2 chapters would have been good. The story was cute.. but much too short.

Didn't like it

The story seemed rushed and amateur. To me the storyline didn't make much sense and probably should have been longer.

So so Great narration

This had such potential. Great plot for a really good story. For me the story was flat. It peaked, then fizzled, repeat. The epilogue was good. The punch which should have come at the big reveal was a little dumb. How could she not have guessed? Was she blind? I only kept listening because the narration was excellently done. It saved a bland story. Which is sad cause the plot had such potential. Not a bad listen. Just nothing special.

Short and sweet except.........

Madison had way too many preconceived notions and insecurity. That been said I wish the story was longer I wanted more. Erin narration was great I love her male voice it's actually pretty hot.

For the length, I realy enjoyed this one!

Would you listen to Seeing Stars again? Why?

This was a little gem I needed after reading a few misses. It's not an angsty book(and I love angst) but it's just ....sweet. I think the only thing I didn't really understand was how she didn't recognize him, after all, that time. Either way, she got her come up and her man. I really liked this one!

Remember when you were a teenager and that boy across the street made your knees weak? This is what this story is about.
