Brilliant Romance and Thriller

This book was surprisingly goodgood, really good. It starts off with a somewhat predictable romance storyline but because it factors in real life issues faced by immigrants, ADHD sufferers, females in the work place all struggling to fit in and get ahead in life. It then doubles into a dramatic edgey thriller that's full of unpredictable twists with the potential to destroy families, friendships, careers and. the rare opportunities at love. The book is well written and engaging throughout. The narrator also delivers superbly in most instances except with respect to the southern belle accent of Lilly. All in all, I found myself using every opportunity to listen to the book and felt that it was worth the credit and time!!

Positively riveting

This is the first Nicholas Sparks book I have ever listened to and enjoyed it so much that I can safely say that I have now discovered a new author.

This book/story is positively riveting. The narration was excellent and complimented the book perfectly. The storyline is full of twists and turns and the characters were all a pleasure to listen to. No irritating or annoying characters as so often is the case. All in all, an excellent read.

Loved it

The story is good of course, it's Nicholas Sparks. Been a while since I read one of his books and this has inspired me to take them up again.
Narration was pretty good too, although some of the female characterisations sounded a bit like Kermit the frog, but that was amusing rather than irritating.

Aweful

Truest dreadful, I advise you to not waist your money pick something else. The story was dull and I found it a chore to get into and gave up half way.
