Too much bodice ripping, breathless tosh for me. I was expecting a decent thriller but the whole ‘will they, won’t they, of course they will’ backstory drove me to distraction. Characters seem fake and unrealistic to me. Rarely write a bad review but I can’t say I enjoyed this at all. I battled on to the end only cos I hate to leave a book unfinished.
