Summary

Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Warning: Contains explicit sex, profanity, and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

Funniest book you will ever listen to!

Any additional comments?

So this book had me laughing out loud a lot.
It is I would possibly say american pie meet fifty shades.

Imagine if you will, you are 20 years old and still a virgin, you want to get rid of your v card and you will do this by any means, Claire does this by getting drunk and having sex with a random man and then getting pregnant on her first time how is that for ironic?

Claire doesn't see the father of her child (until later) and slowly gets back into normal life well as normal as normal can be.

Liz her best friend is amazing, I thought she was wonderful I really enjoyed her character, and also making Claire work selling sex toys is the funniest chapter I have ever read.

Claire is hilarious and Carter is just lovely. There is a lot of use of the word vagina however it's done in a humorous way and I personally I found it very very funny.

Gavin the little boy is absolutely hilarious, and I found myself laughing out loud on the bus to work, getting very funny looks as I always listen to my books on audio.

This book is crude, rude, and very very funny I would highly recommend it especially if you may be looking into the erotic book section and are not too sure about which one to start with.

I have recommended it to all of my friends

meh!

found the book a hard listen, the narrator wasn't the best and had no proper distinguishable voice. hard to follow who was taking and narrating. often 4 minutes in before I realise who's telling that part. and the word Vagina was far overused. never wanna hear that word again. live the little kid! absolutely hilarious. it's a good humor book and funny at times, also trying to hard to be funny at times. an ok read

Great story, struggled with the narrator...

A brilliant story that had me actually laughing out loud. The only issue I had was the way the narrator changed between the viewpoint of Claire and then Carter. This could have been made clearer as sometimes it took a few sentences to establish which point of view I was listening to as sometimes they seemed to run together with very little pause and nothing to suggest that it had changed. It did become slightly easier to distinguish as the book went on but something to be aware of.

Enough to keep you occupied.

Good storyline with some laugh out loud moments. Too much in their head thoughts but a good enough story to keep you occupied if travelling long journeys.

So, so Funny!

Absolutely Loved this! Had me laughing all the way through. Can't wait to listen to the others.
It could have been better narrated by a male and a female narrator, as it's not always immediately obvious when the narration switches from Carter to Claire. However, don't let that put you off, as you do soon get used to it, and it's just too funny to not listen to, if you love dry humour 😂😂

Tedious in the extreme

If you are obsessed by your vagina, then maybe this book has some appeal. The endless discussion of male and female genitalia in what is I think, supposed to be a humorous way, becomes tedious in the extreme. The story line is so thin, and the characters predictable and one dimensional.
I found the poor language actually got in the way of any story that might actually be there. It was neither funny nor insightful, erotic, or a beautiful love story; simply one long litany of sexual language and swear words which bored me to death. About two thirds of the way through I gave up. This is my first ever bad purchase.
