Summary

It's true...while nobody likes to be called a liar, the reality is we all lie!

We are taught to lie by the very people who end up being most offended by the practice. Our parents tell us to "wipe that expression off our face" when we turn our nose up at food we don't like - they would apparently prefer us to pretend we do like it rather than admit the truth. Occasionally, we're told to use a different tone of voice - a nice one, that doesn't reflect how we really feel.

This is how we begin to learn that sometimes a lie can benefit us in the short term. As such, the ability to lie becomes an important part of our communication toolbox. What we are not taught is how to detect a lie - possibly the most powerful skill you can have.

As part of the Seduction Enigma Dating Psychology series, human behavior expert and renowned pickup artist Seventy Seven reveals the lie detection secrets of the FBI and behavioral analysis unit. Using these little known skills, you too can become a master of unlocking the truth behind another person's story.

The difference between the average pickup artist and the masters is all about understanding what makes people tick. The knowledge in this book will have practical applications in all areas of your life, but especially to your dating.

You'll discover:

  • How to spot attraction signals a mile off
  • What she is really thinking and why
  • Advanced dating and relationships indicators
  • How she "feels" about you in less than a second
  • If she really has a boyfriend or if it's a test
  • And much more

Boring

Seduction psychology?? Really just a "quick" look into gestures and some stories from the Narrator.

Second Listen, Still Fascinating

Seventy Seven may be an unusual name for an author but nothing unusual about the content. Narration is so, clear, so concise and almost hyonitic. If you are expecting a book giving you guidance on how to actually seduce people, this may not be quite what you are looking for. It's deeper than that, but definitely worth a listen.

Same

This is verbatim from another book! Highly disappointed! I wasted money on two books that say the exact same thing!

Not a Seduction book

Book is great a lot of insight around lie detection. Nothing really about seduction or dating.

the title of the book is a total lie

The title of the book describes only the last 1 minute of the book...
the title should be changed

not disappointedly insightful

out of the many self-help books that I've listened to, this is one that has information that I think actually value. the techniques, descriptions, and justifications, explanations, were filled with so much insight. I learned a lot from this book.

Alot of Fluff

not what i expected. 11 Chapters and really only a few good points that could have all been in 1 chapter. 11 chapters was there for fluff.

Like a nightclub with a long line outside but empty inside. Giving the illusion of "many".

Don't waste your money

Would you try another book from Seventy Seven and/or Seventy Seven?

Looking for information/instruction on how to understand body language not to hear stories.

What was most disappointing about Seventy Seven’s story?

The narrator voice is a bit annoying.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment money not well spent.
