Summary
Annie Boyd’s life has consisted of being a full time nurse while caring for her sick son. Her life has changed with the addition of a rowdy group of friends and their famous husbands. When one of those famous friends gets injured and she bends some rules, the life that she knows begins to crumble around her.
Terrance O’Sullivan has been self-destructive most of his life. When Annie and her son drop into his life he knows he wants to be better. While working on his recovery, he attempts to break down the many obstacles Annie has around her heart.
As they both begin to believe love is attainable, life throws them a curve leaving them stunned. The secrets each have been keeping threaten to tear apart what they’ve started to build. Can two broken people find a happy ending when so many secrets litter their path?

loved it
oh wow, this is an erotic story with a heart. This is not normally a genre I would listen to, but I was so drawn into the characters. The story at times is really sad but I simply had to find out what was going to happen. Annie is such a brave woman, who you are routing for all the way. I truly loved how all the twists came together. The erotic scenes where very saucy, but didn't distract from the main story. I really want to listen to the rest in the series now.

secrets ...wow
Loved the narration of Michelle Sure. Brilliant at bringing the characters to life. A joy to listen too.
This book had me from the start. Loved the characters, humour, the pain of characters was done with skill, both in the writing and narration.
Oh enough steam in the story. Twist and turns.

A romantic rollercoaster full of secrets
A fitting title for this book which is full of secrets between Anne, a nurse, and Terrance, their paths cross which leads to a relationship between the two. This is the fourth book in a series and although not essential I think I should have read the other ones first. A rollercoaster of emotions, which will leave you laughing to a heavy heart. Nicely narrated by Michelle Shure.

A charming romcom, well- narrated!
An excellent narrator who really brings the story to life, her voice perfectly captures the wryly funny tone of the story. A pleasure to listen to!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Enthralling & Heartfelt
Wow, this book captured not only my attention but my heart too. I am not sure how this is my first Jackie Paxson, I can only say it will not be my last. I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. I adored the two lead characters, actually three, Annie Boyd’s son Tristan is a guest star in this book, Terrance O’Sullivan first comes off as a jerk but he redeems himself as the story goes on. Annie is a single mother whose son is battling cancer, a son who is a trooper and she tries to keep a brave face for him while battling the cancer and facing the obstacles that come her way. She is a nurse in the hospital and when she sees Terrance is brought in with injuries she calls his friends to let them know. She knows Terrance from her circle of friends who happen to be famous actors, like like Terrance. Then her own life goes in to a tailspin, a vindictive doctor starts trouble for her, she finds out her sons treatments are not working like they should, she also has a terribly selfish mother who does nothing to help. When her friends ask to take care of Terrance while he recovers from his injuries despite not wanting to do it she feels it is the only option. Thankfully his attitude lightens up a bit and he gets along great with her son Tristan. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted with the perfect balance romance and comedy as well as drama, heartfelt and emotional moments. Jackie Paxson, thank you for this fabulous story, I am looking forward to checking out more of your books.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Michelle Shure is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. She did an awesome job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions and personality. She covered the voices for all the characters, performed both the male and female roles giving each their own distinct voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. I loved how she took each role and made it her own, playing each character with perfection. She handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor flawlessly. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen I am looking forward to hearing more of your work.

Loved it
This was a lovely and intriguing book that really pulled me in! The characters, scenarios, and familial dynamics are relatable and easy to understand. I love that this is an erotic/love story, but there are moments of drama and tense scenarios. The narration was excellent and made it that much more interesting to listen to. Overall would definitely recommend.
