Chase Hillier has plans, and nothing will cause her to deviate from them. So far, they're pretty simple: Get through her first year of college with good grades, read a lot of books, and hopefully find a cute boyfriend who could turn into her husband someday. Cordelia Scott has her own plans: Get through her freshman year without too many panic attacks, figure out what the hell she wants to major in, and meet a guy who finally makes her heart flutter. Fate has other plans for the two when they end up as roommates and neither of them can stop thinking about the other.

Coming out is easier when you've got someone by your side. At least that's how the hyper-private Quinn Kincaid sees it. When her publicist suggests a good old-fashioned sham of a Hollywood relationship, Quinn reluctantly agrees. And that's how the star of Jordan's Appeal, TV's highest rated legal drama, ends up with a fake girlfriend - the very real, very sexy, and very gay soap star Lacey Matthews.

Summary
Daisy Grace Webber's life hasn't exactly turned out how she thought it would. She didn't think she'd drop out of college and come back to the small town she grew up in. To be fair, she didn't think her love of baking would turn into a job at the Violet Hill Cafe either, but it did.
Something else she didn't expect was for Molly Madison to walk back into her life, eight years after she moved away. They'd been best friends forever, or so she'd thought. But Molly is back in town and she's looking...really good, actually. And that reminds Daisy of that one time at a sleepover when they'd kissed during a game of Spin the Bottle. That one kiss has been on her mind since then, but it's irrelevant. Molly isn't into girls.
But as Daisy and Molly spend more time together, feelings start to grow, and Daisy is wondering just how "straight" Molly really is...

Easy Listen
This was such an easy listen that I worked my way through the book quickly. Enjoyed the characters, the story line and the relationships and development between all the characters.
Can find no faults with the narrator and also added to easy listening.

Requited love for Molly and Daisy
What made the experience of listening to Second Kiss the most enjoyable?
The happy ending. This is a lovely simple tale of 2 young best friends, meeting up after 10 years apart. They clearly were always meant to be together, but had no way of knowing it. When they meet up again they fall head over heels. This is a lovely, fun, gentle story, highly recommend. Leaves you feeling optimistic for the pair of them.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Really enjoyed that the mother was so supportive of these two girls. I hope there is a sequel to this book. I enjoyed it so much I listened to it again.

Great Short Story!
Overall, I enjoyed this book. The narrator was good and the story was pleasant. I like the way the author tackled and conveyed difficult aspects within the LGBTQ community throughout the book. Ultimately, a great read!

Best friends
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBoom dot com.
I'm not a fan of profanity, so that's really my only issue with the book. I love how the focus on their relationship is based on their friendship as kids. Instead of just focusing on sex, they build a blanket fort, have ticket fights, and play on the swing sets. I liked the supportive mom as opposed to the upset-mom, and the story has a happy ending. The story is told in first person, and I think the narrator was a fantastic fit for the main character. She conveys the emotions of distaste, worry, and excitement very well. She uses a completely different set of mannerisms for mom, which fit the mom figure very well. I wasn't a big fan of molly's voice. if you pay attention, she does speak differently so you can tell them apart, but the pitch isn't significantly different so it can be a little bit difficult.

Second Kiss - short and sweet
Would you consider the audio edition of Second Kiss to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, but the audio version was enjoyable.
Which character – as performed by Ramona Master – was your favorite?
The narrator did a great job of making me believe she was Daisy. I felt like Daisy was really talking to me.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
BFF's and more!
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this short audiobook. I did wish that Molly's voice didn't always sound sexy, even in regular conversation, but Daisy's voice more than made up for that. The story was cute and sexy. I would read more from this author, and I would listen to this narrator again. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Second Kiss by Chelsea M. Cameron was a great book. This book followed Daisy and Molly finding each other after not seeing each other in many years. They find that maybe there were always other feelings for each other.

cute short novella
I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator.
Second Kiss is a very cute romance about two best friends who rekindle their friendship after haven't seeing each other in years. Through their years apart they both discovered they are lesbians. When Molly walks into Daisy's job she's doesn't know how to feel. Daisy was definitely hurt when she left, but she also realizes how she felt for Molly all those years ago.
I liked that Daisy and Molly always had feelings for one another, but didn't know what it meant when they were kids. They share their experiences of coming out to their families and the events that led to them discovering they were lesbians.
I think I definitely liked the narrator, Ramona Masters better listening to this book. There always seems to be drawl when she narrates making it appear that the character has an accent. It does not take away from the story though.

Predictable
Any additional comments?
This book was very stereotyped. With that said, I liked it. It left a little to be desired in the romance department. It was mostly about two old friends rekindling after growing up and becoming lesbians (something neither of them new).
I was given this book for free for a honest review.

Pleasant surpro
Would you consider the audio edition of Second Kiss to be better than the print version?
Honestly I didn't read the printed version. The narrator did a fantastic job. She has a great voice, and really got into the story. I'm pretty picky about the narrator, I've stopped quite a few books because the narrator wasn't doing a good job.
What other book might you compare Second Kiss to and why?
None. This was my first f/f book.
What does Ramona Master bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She really gets into character. She did a great job at changing voices. She didn't read to fast or slow. She was perfect for the book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Molly and daisy see each other for the first time in 8 years. The feels 😍😍
Any additional comments?
This was my first f/f novella, and I'm glad it was because I loved it. Molly and daisy use to be best friends. Molly moved away, and was never heard from again. 8 yrs later she returns and finds daisy. Second kiss is a sweet book. Lots of feels. The steamy parts were very well written. I can't wait to read more by this author.
